Once again, Magapor reinforces its commitment to innovation and knowledge in the swine sector with the second edition of the Poster Competition, organised in conjunction with the Magapor Chair at the University of Zaragoza, as part of the upcoming 18th Magapor Technical Congress (ITM 2026), to be held on 13–14 May 2026 in Zaragoza.
The aim of this competition is to promote high-quality scientific production and raise awareness of the most significant advances in the field of swine reproduction, both in sows and boars. This competition has established itself as a meeting point between the academic world, research and business, contributing to the transfer of knowledge and technological development in the sector.
The 10 highest-rated posters will be exhibited during the conference, giving their authors the opportunity to present their research to international professionals and experts. In addition, the three winning entries will receive cash prizes of €1,000, €750 and €500, respectively. Participation will be open from 1 November 2024 to 1 April 2026.

- Viral and bacterial infections
- Biosecurity and epidemiology
- Nutrition, welfare and genetic improvement
- Facilities and new reproductive technologies
With this initiative, Magapor and the University of Zaragoza reaffirm their commitment to training, science and innovation applied to the sector, promoting projects that contribute to the sustainable progress of the pig sector globally.
