Magapor announces a new edition of its Just For Pigs photography competition, which celebrates its 11th edition this year.
The competition is organised in collaboration with the University of Zaragoza and the Magapor Chair, focusing on the theme of “swine production”. Its aim is to highlight the work carried out on pig farms among the university community and the general public through an artistic and aesthetic perspective.
The submission period opened on 18 September and closes on 30 November. The competition features two main categories: professionals, with a 500€ prize, and students, with a 250€ prize.
The student category is open to those who can provide proof of enrolment at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza, in the Master’s Degree in Pig Health and Production offered by the participating universities, or who are members of a Pig Farming Classroom (Aula Porcina). The professional category is open to any individual aged 18 or over.
The results will be announced on Friday, 18 December 2026, on the Magapor website, and the winners will also be notified personally.
