On the Friday morning, September 10, Magapor signed the sponsorship of the young local climber Maria Laborda, a specialist in the spectacular discipline of speed climbing.
Maria Laborda Sagaste, the most promising international climber, is currently 17 years old and comes from Ejea de los Caballeros (Zaragoza). The excellent results she obtained with the Aragon Sport Climbing Technification Group (GTEDA) of the Aragonese Mountaineering Federation, helped her to become part of the specialized team in Speed Climbing of the Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing (FEDME).
Her record of achievements includes the following:
- World Champion at school age in 2019 (France)
- Bronze medal at the European Youth Cup 2021 (Austria)
- Silver medal in the second round of the European Speed Climbing Cup, held in Austria in June 2021, the first medal obtained by the Spanish team in an absolute competition in the women’s category
- She also holds the current Spanish record in his specialty, speed climbing
