Magapor, in collaboration with the Chair of the University of Zaragoza, has celebrated the award ceremony of the II Ideas Competition. This award reaffirms its commitment to innovation and development in the pig sector.
The competition, whose aim was to transform innovative ideas into research projects applied to the area of swine reproduction, was won by the proposal entitled ‘Oestrus detection using artificial intelligence’, whose main researcher is David López Carbonell. This idea stands out for its ability to integrate advanced technologies to optimise reproductive processes in the pig sector, contributing to the progress of the industry.
The II Ideas Competition, aimed at students, researchers and professionals in the scientific field, is an example of the joint effort of Magapor and the University of Zaragoza to promote innovation and support researchers. The prize amounts to 3,000 euros and will allow this research to be transformed into a real project.
The award ceremony took place at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Zaragoza with representatives of Magapor and the Chair. Magapor thanks all the participants for their talent, and congratulates the winners for their outstanding contribution
