Jesús Mena, General Manager of Magapor, has received this prestigious recognition from the hand of Their Majesties the King and Queen of Spain during the National Innovation and Design Awards 2023 ceremony. The event was held on 11 April in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The National Innovation and Design Awards highlight the commitment and achievements of those people and entities that have made innovation a fundamental pillar in their professional and business strategy. In this edition, the jury highlighted the role of Magapor for its exceptional work in the livestock sector, demonstrating how innovation can transform even the most traditional areas of the Spanish economy.
Magapor has achieved a position of international leadership thanks to its firm commitment to research, development and innovation. To develop this research, 25% of the workforce is dedicated to R+D+i. This allows us to launch our products that incorporate the latest technologies such as artificial vision, such as artificial vision for seminal analysis.
The jury highlighted Magapor’s value in tackling economic, health, and social challenges in traditional sectors, as well as its commitment to knowledge transfer, reflecting its contribution to the progress and competitiveness of the livestock sector.
